Revising Flyers
After class on Tuesday I was excited to go home and revise my flyer's. The feedback that I received was very helpful. I was able to revise my flyer's and I think they look better now. My original though while working on my first draft was to make sure that everything was seen, even the small text so that what I did. The feedback that I received was that all three of my flyer's were covered in words. So I focused more on the hierarchy of what was important and made the adjustments. I also focused on the visual path, and made sure that the order of what needs to be seen is seen. I also test out my flyer's on my mom asked her the first five things she saw, and it worked. I think my flyer's are definitely better than the first. I'm looking forward to class tomorrow so I can receive more feedback, and hopefully continue to improve them before the final version is due

Visual Hierarchy
While reading the required text I was able to pinpoint what I felt the most important. It’s the design. The design is what people look at, and what carries the message across. The reading states that it creates stories, provides data and adds depth to your design. This is something I agree completely and that why I feel it’s the most important point. Some specific guidelines that I will use will be visual hierarchy, and just focusing on how that important that is. The reading breaks down the focal points on how to make the visual hierarchy stand out. It explains font contrast, shape and more. Nothing surprise from the readings. I was happy to learn the new background information about visual hierarchy

Design Brief 3
I'm really excited about design brief 3 because we are going to be working with pictures and not just text. I feel that with pictures its easier to get your message across since most people are visual. The concerns I have about this brief are the same as the prior two. I'm not an artistic persona at all, so this will be a learning process for me. I am glad we get to use pictures though, that way I can be more creative.

Reading about Desinging Forms
The things that I would consider to be the most important about the readings would be the seven principles of design. What I was able to understand from it was the background it gave me on how to make you document legible and readable I never knew that so many specific things go into making documents readable and legible, the contrast, balance, rhythm and more. Its amazing.
The suggestions that I've taken from the readings are creating personality to documents by using certain features, tell a story by using visual hierarchy, the textual aspect of design describes using different sizes based on length of writing and much more
Overall the readings were all very informative and interesting. There was a lot of information on them all so I'm sure I will need to go back to the in the future to remember

My fav Typography poster
This cover is my favorite because of the overlapping, contrast, and spacing. The figure/ground relationship is very visible. There could be an argument that the figure is the dark blue and the ground is the light blue or vice versa The fact that it is speaking with not only the words, but the picture is interesting. It is speaking because the title "Hidden Truth" is hidden. Over all this is an intrinsic piece and I have never seen one like itReading about Type
Reading about typography was interesting because it was a term I was unfamiliar with until now. The most important thing I thought was being able to make harmony with the graphics that is being used. This is something that could be difficult depending on how the type is laid and how it flows into the graphics. This is something I feel I will struggle with, but I hope to accomplish. Other points that were address that I feel could be incorporated into my work are making it interesting, overlapping objects, spacing, margins, contrast and more. All of these things can be go into my work.

Final Three Tiles and Design Brief 2 Concerns
I'm unable to upload the tiles, but I will when I figure out how to do so.
I'm really looking forward to design brief 2 simply because the first was interesting. I was off to a rocky start at first and didn't think I would do so well, but after the readings, and lessons in class I got it, and I was able to accomplish the work. With this brief it seems a bit harder. I'm not sure how you can make text look different from how it is. I'm sure there is a way, and I'm ready to learn about it.
